Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3
Prayer is simply talking to God and listening to what He has to say to us.
God makes Himself known to us through His Word and He invites us to communicate with Him through prayer.
God wants us to bring our praise, thanks, confessions, struggles and requests to Him. Prayer is not our idea, but God’s. Through Jesus Christ we can enter into the presence of the almighty God, recognizing our complete dependence on Him, asking Him to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. It is one of the Christian’s greatest expressions of faith.
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving Colossians 4:2
We encourage both individual prayer and also praying together informally, during our meetings or in regular church prayer gatherings.
We not only pray for one other, but for our community and the needs of others.
Is there something we can bring before God in prayer for your life? Please let us know.
